a few minutes more.
After watching my own film back year after year, I realised something. Seeing people becomes more valuable over time, but what if we could hear them too?
So, what is it?
It’s nothing fancy, just a chance to keep our people a little bit closer.
I'd give absolutely anything to go back in time and have messages from the people who were there on our day. The advice, the stories, the terrible jokes... just hearing their voices again would mean the world.
One Phone. One Camera. One Minute.
It’s a chance for the people who know you best to leave you a message on one of the best days of your life.
Maybe you’ll watch them the week after your wedding and laugh your head off.
Maybe you’ll watch them on your tenth anniversary.
Or maybe one day, when life looks a little different, they’ll become some of the most valuable minutes you own.
For me to be able to capture a genuine message, that doesn’t feel scripted or uncomfortable, I need your guests to feel at total ease. This is why I step away and leave them to say whatever they’re feeling. It’s not always going to be something heartfelt or emotional, but that also doesn’t mean that their message wont be important to you all the same…
How does it work?
There’s no crazy camera trickery, no smoke and mirrors, and definitely no big production team.
Because I always work with a second shooter, we’re able to capture A Few Minutes More while still documenting your wedding at the very same time.
During your drinks reception, we’ll set up a phone in a quiet little corner away from the crowd. Whenever your guests feel like it, they can wander over, leave you a message, and head straight back to the party.
That’s it.
No queue. No pressure. No audience. Just a chance for the people who love you most to say something you’ll have forever.
